Virtual Sentosa

Every brand had a Covid campaign. This was Sentosa’s.

 

When the world came to a standstill and countries closed their borders one by one, we kept Sentosa, a small island resort off the Southern coast of Singapore open and became the one of the most widely reported tourism destinations during a global pandemic.

This project is a personal favourite. Deep in the glooms of Covid, it provided much needed creative stimulation and human connection. The manual labour needed to create a virtual island saw all of us farming, building, testing and taking on hosting duties when the island was launched. It brought the entire Sentosa team together and helped us tide through one of the darkest period of our lives. Winning two Webbys at the end of it was pretty great too.
